Sale of Pyramid to Géone Group

Lyon (France), April 28, 2026

Founded in 1993, Pyramid is a leading player in specialty civil engineering works in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and across South-Eastern France, operating on high value-added technical projects including deep foundations and piling, retaining structures and Berlin walls, grouting and structural reinforcement works, as well as geothermal drilling.

With the support of Aquasourça since 2020 and under the leadership of Lionel Romeyer, who succeeded founder Bruno Faure, the company has established itself as a trusted partner to major public and private clients, generating close to €30 million in revenue.

The combination of Pyramid with Mont-Blanc Matériaux, a Megève-based group specializing in earthworks, demolition and public works, creates a specialty civil works group combining mountain construction expertise with advanced foundations know-how.

This transaction is being carried out within Groupe Géone, a newly established platform formed around Xavier Neys, a recognized entrepreneur in the infrastructure and public works sector, who is launching a new entrepreneurial project alongside the management teams of both companies.

Built on strong operational complementarities and a shared entrepreneurial culture, the newly formed group, with close to €50 million in combined revenue, aims to become a leading regional player capable of delivering complex technical projects, while preserving the identity and operational autonomy of each company.

Our team is delighted to have supported Aquasourça and all of its shareholders in this transaction.
