Sale of Neobrain to MentorcliQ
Paris (France), October 23rd 2026
MentorcliQ, provider of a mentoring and talent development platform that helps companies run their mentoring programs and strengthen employee engagement, announces the acquisition of Neobrain, a specialist in AI-powered skills analysis.
Financière de Courcelles advised the shareholders of Neobrain on this transaction: its co-founders, its financial investors Alter Equity, Crédit Mutuel Innovation, Breega and La Poste Ventures, as well as its business angels.
Founded in Paris in 2018 by Paul Courtaud and Jérémy Jaillant, Neobrain has established itself as a leading HR solution. Its platform covers skills mapping, career pathing, internal talent marketplace and strategic workforce planning. It enables organizations to understand the skills of their teams, anticipate their future needs and open up new opportunities for their employees. A pioneer in AI for human resources, Neobrain has been deploying AI agents since 2023 that turn skills analysis into concrete recommendations. The company now supports more than one million employees across 80 countries and 17 languages.
The combination brings together, within a unified platform, Neobrain’s skills analysis and internal mobility tools with MentorcliQ’s development programs and employee communities. It provides companies with a comprehensive answer to prepare their workforce for the AI-driven transformation of work. The transaction also strengthens MentorcliQ’s international presence, building on Neobrain’s in-depth knowledge of European customers.
Neobrain’s teams remain in Europe and continue to serve their customers. The management team also remains in place, including co-founders Paul Courtaud and Jérémy Jaillant.
Jérémy Sartre, Managing Partner at Financière de Courcelles, said:
“We are very proud to have supported Paul Courtaud, Jérémy Jaillant and the shareholders of Neobrain in this transaction. By joining MentorcliQ, Neobrain gains the backing of a leading international player in talent development, giving it the means to accelerate while preserving its DNA and its teams in Europe. This transaction illustrates our expertise in advising software companies and their investors on cross-border transactions.”
