Dominique Auburtin, CEO of the investment bank for twelve years, is preparing to take a step back. He entered into exclusive negotiations with Matthieu de Baynast (45, Montpellier Business School), with a view to handing him over control of the M&A advisory structure founded in 1928. The former CEO Atalian is provisionally appointed Vice MD of FDC and thus takes his first steps in the world of investment banking. This professional started his career within the AGS Group, the European leader in removals, before ascending within Atalian, where he was recruited in 2007 to fuel the international development of the facility management group. In particular, he will lead more than sixty acquisitions of companies around the world, before being appointed CEO of the group by Franck Julien, the largest shareholder, in 2017. A responsibility that will be taken over two years later.
