With more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and M&A advisory, Philippe LACAILLE began his career at Caisse des Dépôts where he worked for 7 years, then spent 16 years at Paribas/BNP Paribas in Equity Capital Markets and subsequently in M&A as head of the Environment and Transport sectors. Later he joined the French M&A team of Canaccord Genuity, an independent, listed Canadian investment bank focused on mid-caps, where he spent 8 years, skewed towards cross-border deals.

Philippe has carried out many transactions, of very different size across the sectors which he has developed a strong expertise in: Environment and Energy, Transport and Logistics, Engineering and Construction, Business services and certain industries.

Philippe is a graduate of HEC, Sciences-Po and ENA.

Philippe LACAILLE says: “I was drawn in by the drive, nimbleness, creativity and team spirit of FDC (taken over more than two years ago by Matthieu de Baynast), all features combined with the sense of continuity of the firm (established in 1928), of excellence, and of a strong sector-based approach to business that implies experience and competence. I feel fully coming in this proficient blend of factors of success.

I aim with ambition to contribute to the development of FDC, tapping the sectorial skills I have been building up for more than 20 years and drawing on the links I have tied with both managers of large groups and entrepreneurs of mid-sized companies.
