Paris, December 21, 2022

Since the takeover by the new team led by Matthieu de Baynast in 2020, FDC has shown a strong dynamism based on sectoral expertise to advise its entrepreneurial and large group clients in their transformation.

As part of this strategy, the FDC is strengthening its expertise in the Tech sector with the arrival of Guillaume Cardon as Senior Advisor.

In close collaboration with the investment and operational bankers of the FDC and based on the transactions carried out in the sector, the team aims to strengthen its proximity with the actors of the Tech sector in their life cycle (venture, growth, LBO, M&A), like the large groups in transformation at a time of accelerating change.

Guillaume Cardon has more than 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur in tech and retail, but also as an investment banker based in London (Lehman Brothers, Nomura). In 2016, he co-founded Sutter Mills, a specialist in digital marketing and adtech / martech technologies, sold to Accenture to contribute to the creation of the Accenture Song entity in France and Benelux, for which he took charge until 2022, for the activity relating to financial services.

Guillaume is a graduate of Ecole CentraleSupelec and has an MBA from Insead.

In addition to its M&A and financing expertise, FDC shares with its clients the unique sectoral and operational experience of its Partners club: business leaders recognised for their know-how and experience in their sector. With this new arrival of a renowned former executive and player in the field of technological change, FDC is demonstrating its very strong ambition in the field of technology, which underpins strategic developments in all sectors.

« I am delighted to put my experience as a tech entrepreneur and investment banker at the service of the teams and clients of Financière de Courcelles. In my opinion, FDC is ideally positioned at the crossroads between start-ups, large groups and funds, in a period of strong changes in operational models and unprecedented technological acceleration. The ability to provide strategic, financial and management support is a major differentiator to enable the creation of shareholder and societal value for both tech players and large groups.».

explains Guillaume Cardon, FDC Senior Advisor.
