Laurent TRAN VAN LIEU
Laurent joined FDC in October 2022 as Education Advisor.
He began his career in Corporate Finance at Citi, in Paris and New York, in M&A and LBO. He then held various central and operational responsibilities in the insurance sector and in particular within the Axa group.
Then, in 2007, backed by the family office of the Brenninkmeijer family, he created, developed and managed the higher education group Studialis (today Galileo Global Education) until its sale to Providence Equity in 2015. Since then, he has devoted most of his time as co-founder of the start-up Antescofo, which operates in the field of EdTech applied to music.
He has also invested in some EdTech or education start-ups and is notably a director of Enko Education, a pan-African secondary education group.
Laurent is a graduate of HEC.
